"At this stage of history either one of two things is possible, either the general population will take control of its own destiny and will concern itself with community interests, guided by values of solidarity and sympathy and concern for others, or alternatively there will be no destiny for anyone to control." - Professor Noam Chomsky, the world's most quoted living author, who's all but completely censored by the US corporate media Also see, http://www.youtube.com/DrKenHildebrandt and |

"I understand how risky agriculture can be. It wouldn't be so risky if we could control the weather. That's one of the things we haven't figured out how to do yet." - George W. Bush - Feb. 8, 2002 - Another Bushism? - That's what I thought at first. Watch the video above to see for yourself that Bush's statement above was not so farfetched.

Welcome to http://MajorMediaBypass.com. This site contains a wealth of information accumulated since the year 2000. If you watch the videos and read the brief articles I link to elsewhere as references, it's almost like a book in itself, though unlike a book one can watch and listen to a great deal of what's here. It's tough to argue with audio/video evidence. Yes, it could indeed be a better world, but only if enough caring people do what they can by informing others as they see fit. We're all in the same boat, and it's not looking good for any of us the way things stand now. Don't "believe" me, or anyone else for that matter. Look, listen, and examine the evidence for yourself. At this point, the survival of humankind is at stake, as per Noam Chomsky's quote above left. It's up to you whether you want to be one of the ones who tries or doesn't, however, as things get worse over time as they predictably will if we don't change our direction, remember what you did or didn't do when there was still a chance to turn things around. There's a wealth of evidence as to where we're headed, and I've done my best to present this information in the least confusing ways possible. No one can change the world alone, we can only do it together. All are needed. I hope you pass this material on to others as you see fit. As for me, I'm busy working on putting much of what's here in book form, especially regarding our national elections which are a media driven sham, though I post when and where I can on the Internet as time permits and of course I ask people I encounter in my activities of daily living to take a look a look at what I've spent years putting together here. I've been censored quite a bit from some unexpected places, yet I do what I can and keep telling it like it is. What more can any of us do other than try? I'm no one special, just another person in the same boat as you. - Dr. Ken Hildebrandt - drkjhildebrandt@aol.com

“The most important thing for me and for you is to think about the consequences of your actions. What can you affect? These are the things to keep in mind. These are not just academic exercises. We’re not analyzing the media on Mars or in the eighteenth century or something like that. We’re dealing with real human beings who are suffering and dying and being tortured and starving because of policies that we are involved in. We as citizens of democratic societies are directly involved in and are responsible for and what the media are doing is ensuring that we do not act on our responsibilities and that the interests of power are served, not the needs of the suffering people and not even the needs of the American people who would be horrified if they realized the blood that’s dripping from their hands because of the way they’re allowing themselves to be deluded and manipulated by the system.” - Noam Chomsky

Nazi Hermann Goering stated in Nuremberg:
"The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and then denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
Here's an essential, highly revealing documentary by Bill Moyers regarding our secret government originally broadcast on PBS going on twenty years ago, yet these profound historical events remain unknown by most at the height of the so-called, "Information Age." Click the link below for Moyers' most informative videos. At least watch Part 1, which will likely enlighten you immensely about Iran, Guatemala, and the National Security Act of 1947, demonstrating who's really running things, and in whose interests they serve: http://peace.ca/moyersvideo.htm

"Nothing appears more surprising to those who consider human affairs with a philosophical eye than the easiness with which the many are governed by the few." - David Hume, (1711-1776), "The most important philosopher ever to write in English," according to Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, (see http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/hume/).

Above: At first I thought it might be someone wearing a jet pack (images 1-3), next I though it looked like a bunch of balloons only if so I wondered why the balloons weren't rocking back and forth in the wind and plus the yellow part in the middle blends together unlike balloons (images 4-5), then it appeared like I was looking at a chemistry model. Go figure. Maybe this one can be explained by someone (though if so no one's done it to date), but what we filmed at the beach on July 01, 2003, also contained in the video below, cannot be explained in conventional terms by anyone. See for yourself. I can tell you what it wasn't but not what it was, not specifically anyway. It sure wasn't a weather balloon, swamp gas, ball lightning, airplane, helicopter, Venus, nor meteor. So, what was it? By definition it's a you know what. This is not an esoteric topic it's just censored like so many other important issues. Former Presidents Carter and Reagan have both claimed to have seen UFOs, and Gerald Ford pushed for disclosure when a Michigan congressman. Former government investigator Dr. J. Allen Hynek ended up admitting that there was an "embarrassment of evidence" for the existence of UFOs, and former astronauts Dr. Edgar Mitchell and Gordon Cooper gave testimonies about seeing them. So who's more sane, those who examine the evidence for what it is and openly discuss it with others or those who pretend it's fiction and don't acknowledge the "embarrassment of evidence," Hynek spoke of which has only amassed that much more since he made that statement?

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” - Joseph Goebbels
We're in the process of developing a new website entitled, http://OvercomeTheMedia.com municate, because that's really what needs to happen. Surely this site alone will not bypass the media, though if nearly everyone who visited here passed this vital information to everyone they knew and asked others to do the same, would it not likely be a step in the right direction for reason to prevail for all of us? See, hear and read what's here and decide that for yourself of course, remembering what Noam Chomsky has correctly pointed out that things change because lots of people are working hard, unlike the impression many history books give that "leaders" change history all by themselves.
The bottom line is we're all in this together, and all are needed to help inform others regarding a handful or two of monumental issues the US corporate media either ignore and/or distort here at the height of the Information Age, even though these grand concerns can be easily verified for oneself with the most minimal of effort.
